A few days ago facebook disabled my account. Since I am not on Twitter, it means I am on no social network. In the mail they sent to me, telling me that they were disabling my account for reasons unsaid, they brought to my notice the fact that they couldn’t re-enable my account. That if I was an app developer, I should click on one link, to recover my apps. But if not… Then they said, thank you.

I was angry, you know. These guys make billions of dollars every year, because of people like you and me, but yet they closed my account and told me to go and check their rules and regulation to ‘see’ which rule I had gone against. That normally, they warn people before they close—sorry, disable—their accounts, but if it were a minor offense they wouldn’t. And that I can’t get my account back. What’s the use of checking their rules and regulations if I can’t get my account back?

I was angry. I could feel it in my throat, but there was no one to shout at. There was no one to punch. And the mail said I should not reply.
